Karie came into Katie's life at the age of 2 and became "her baby." Following that Katie and Karie had many different from adventures from practicing their goat tying get offs up and down the gravel roads surrounding Lester to magically getting the old red Ford truck stuck at least once. They did get it unstuck before dad got home! For Karie to let the secret out over supper... In the end though Karie was and still is Katie's biggest supporter, friend, and favorite little sister.

Jennifer (Jennie) is one of Katie’s older sisters. Being 9 years older, Jennie was both a role model and a sister to fight with. Jennie helped to introduce Katie to her high school and college passion of horses and rodeo. Jennie was also always on call throughout college for a motivational chat when needed or a vet diagnosis through the phone.

As Katie’s oldest sister, Melissa would take her younger sisters on adventures, whether that was letting stay at her house or helping to get ready for dance. As Katie got older Melissa became a person for her to reach out to for advice about life.
