Lisa and Katherine met 12 years ago while working on their MBA degrees at UNR. When Lisa and Katherine were single, they used to spend their weekends together cooking, baking, and watching movies and theatre productions. Lisa is the modern day Martha Stewart; she makes her own hand and laundry soaps, candles, and brown sugar and vanilla extract. Mrs. Schober has been married for five years to her husband Nate. Lisa and Nate have a nine-month old son named Evan.

Megan and Katherine met in 2010 during a Changing Environments class at UNR. Megan told Katherine that she plans someday to swim with the sea turtles in Hawaii. When Megan and Katherine were single, they used to go wine tasting on Friday nights at a Reno winery. Megan has been married for six years to her husband Kalani. Megan and Kalani have two children: Liam who is five-years old, and Mila who is four-years old. The Fernandez family moved from Nevada to Hawaii in 2021 where they can swim with the sea turtles.

Julie and Katherine met 15 years ago in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Who says that mechanical and civil engineers can't be friends? Julie and Katherine ran together in many events such as: Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco, CA; Napa Valley Marathon in Napa, CA; and Rock N' River Half Marathon in Reno, NV. Julie has been married to her husband Ken for 10 years. They have two children: Wyatt who is eight-years old, and Tyler who is six years-old.

Trevor is Trent's older brother. Trevor has been a good influence on Trent by encouraging Trent to pursue his career in Civil Engineering, and join the fraternity Archania at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. Trevor has a 16-year old son named Ascher and dog named Ace. Trevor's signature sayings are, "You Betcha," and "I'm Out!" When Trevor is not working at his structural firm, then he is with Ascher and Ace playing golf and tennis.

Ascher is Trent's nephew. Ascher and Trent spend Ascher's birthdays at the waterslide park in Sparks, NV. Ascher has an Australian shepherd dog named Ace. Ascher is 16-years old and enjoys: playing golf, tennis, video games; eating Del Taco, Takis, French fries and chicken fingers; and watching sports.

Katherine and Matt Denio have been good friends for 17 years since college. Quinn Denio is the youngest son of Matt and Stephanie Denio. Quinn is five-years-old and has an older brother Declan who is eight-years-old. Quinn enjoys Paw Patrol, ice cream and shadowing his big brother Declan.

Lauren Mims is Katherine's closest cousin. Lauren's and Chase’s first born child Adleigh is five-years-old. Adleigh loves to cook, sing, play with her chickens and goats, and boss around her three-year-old brother.
