Accomodations
When choosing your accomodations please be aware that ridesharing and taxis are extremely limited in Lake Lure. Ample parking is provided at the wedding venue. Cars may be left at the venue overnight until 9am the following morning. There will be two SUVs running 7pm - 11pm to transport guests staying in or around the resort. Golf carts are also available to rent through the resort (call 828-694-3042), and may be driven to the venue and within the resort gates.
Vacation Homes by Rumbling Bald Resort
Several vacation homes (studios and condos with accommodations for 2-8 people) at the Rumbling Bald Resort have been reserved for our wedding. A complete list of available homes can be viewed at Rumblingbaldlodging.com. Homes within our wedding block are exempt from the typical minimum stay requirement, and cannot be reserved online. Please contact Guest Services Supervisor Maggie Upton at 828-694-3004 to reserve within the wedding block. Rumbling Bald Resort homes are within 0.25mi - 2mi from the wedding venue.
The Lodge on Lake Lure
The Lodge on Lake Lure is an alternative option for accommodation located 15 minutes by car from the wedding venue. There is no wedding block associated with this hotel.

There are several Inns and Hotels located in the town of Chimney Rock, NC (approximately 20-30 minutes from the wedding venue).
