Our Wedding

Conor and Katherine met while working at Baxter Healthcare, in 2019. After spending the summer getting to know each other and becoming friends, they went their separate ways: Katherine returning to St. Louis for her final year at WashU, and Conor continuing to work with Baxter in Chicago. After about two months apart, they decided to try dating long distance. They knew they had found something special and were determined to make the distance work. They had been dating for six months, when Katherine moved to Houston, Texas for work. They started a new chapter of cross country long distance which lasted for two years. During this time, they focused on growing individually, while staying connected through video calls, movie dates and many, many visits. They spoke on the phone every night, ending each call with a sign off of I love you, I miss you, good night and bye. In January of 2022 , they received great news that Katherine had gotten a new job based in Chicago. She moved in May of 2022, to start their new lives of dating in the same city. They love the slower pace of life and the ability to put down roots together in one place. These days, Sundays are filled with family dinners at the Rowley's instead of drives to the airport. After eight wonderful months of living in Chicago, Conor proposed in December of 2022 in Key West, FL. They quickly set a date for New Years Eve of 2023. Each new year has brought a new chapter for the young couple. They love the idea of getting to celebrate their anniversary on the holiday every year and of their wedding being one big party! It feels fitting to kick off 2024 officially as The Rowley's. Thank you for celebrating with us!

Emily and Katherine met at WashU Engineering school in 2017. They lived together while in graduate school and were inseparable as two of the very few women in the program.

Madisen and Katherine met through a random housing assignment their freshman year at Rhodes College, in 2014. They have been best friends for nearly 10 years! Madisen will be traveling from Japan to be at the wedding.

Brooke and Katherine met in 8th grade at Villa Duchesne High School, in 2009.  They have walked through many stages of life together across the last 14 years.

CJ and Katherine met later into their time at WashU Engineering. They have the wonderful luck of living two hours apart and visit frequently!

Sarah and Katherine are sister-in-laws. Sarah is married to Katherine's brother, Ted.  Katherine always wanted a sister and loved the addition of Sarah to her family this past 2021.

Julia and Katherine are soon to be sister-in-laws! Julia is Conor's younger sister and has been a wonderful friend to Katherine across the last three years.  Julia has made the transition to Chicago so easy for Katherine.

Jen and Katherine are soon to be sister-in-laws! Jen is Conor's older sister and has been a great example for Conor and Katherine as they have grown in their relationship. Jen was always a source of advice and support throughout long distance.

Sean and Conor have been friends for the last seven years. Sean is the significant other of Conor’s older sister Jen. He has been like a brother to Conor, and was an easy choice to be his best man!

Ted and Conor are soon to be brother-in-laws!  Ted is Katherine’s older brother and currently lives in Dallas, Texas. Ted has been a role model for Katherine her whole life!

Josh and Katherine have been best friends since their first month of grad school, in 2017. Josh and Conor have become very close friends and now CJ, Josh, Conor and Katherine try to take a trip together each year!

Johnny and Conor are friends from University of Illinois and were members of APO together! These days, Johnny lives a few blocks from the couple in Chicago.

David is Conor’s cousin on the Rowley side! They have been friends their entire life and are getting married in the same year.

Tanner introduced Katherine and Conor at Baxter and has been friends with the couple for the last 4+ years. Tanner will be traveling from Italy to be at the wedding.

Brewlights experience will be open during our wedding weekend! The oldest and largest brewery of Anheuser-Busch always has something brewing. Guests can partake in beer and food pairing dinners, tour the Clydesdale stables and sample beer straight from the cellar. Tour guides provide information on the beer-making process and the history of the brand.

Budweiser Brewery Experience

Take a 15-minute ride on The Wheel with views of the St. Louis skyline from&nbsp;200 feet in the air in one of the climate controlled&nbsp;gondolas. Play a round of mini golf, climb a ropes course, or visit the aquarium. You can also cool off with an insta-worthy milkshake at the Soda Fountain.

St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station

Take a tram ride to the top of this gleaming, 630 foot monument. After you squeeze into a futuristic, five-person pod, it takes four minutes to ascend. At the top, small windows reveal spectacular views of downtown St. Louis and beyond to the west and the Mississippi River and Illinois to the east. Tickets often sell out, so reserve your spots ahead of time.

The Gateway Arch

Home to. more than 14,000 exotic animals, many of them rare and endangered. These 500 species represent the major continents and biomes of the world. Set in the rolling hills, lakes and glades of Forest Park, the St. Louis Zoo is always a great place to be. The Zoo is open year round, except on December 25 and January 1. Check website for hours. Admission is FREE.

Originally built as the first national monument to Thomas Jefferson, the Missouri History Museum looks at the history of St. Louis from its founding in 1764 up to the present day. Discover the city's baseball history from the Browns to the Cardinals, marvel at the magnitude of the 1904 Worlds Fair and much more. Closed on Mondays. Admission is FREE.
