Best to arrive a half hour prior to ceremony start time. Ceremony will start at 4 pm.

The ceremony will take place indoors, so as to not sweat out the guests (or the bride or groom). There will be an outdoor courtyard space available for guests to enjoy after the ceremony and through out the night.

There is plenty of parking outside the wedding venue, and it is free to all guests.

The couple would love to share the day with everyone; however, the cut off is with kids. Although, of course, they have made allowances for their adorable nieces and nephews. Also any mothers with babies still nursing, more than welcome to bring their little one.

Guests are welcome to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks just outside the reception hall, as well as enjoy the outdoor courtyard space. The couple will have yard games and various seating in the outdoor courtyard for guests to enjoy, rain or shine.

If your invite includes a plus one, by all means bring someone along.

Yes there are hotel blocks, plural. We know almost everyone will be traveling to our wedding, so hotel blocks are available at: 1. The Holiday Inn & Suites Cedar Falls (i.e. the same as the Event Center) 2. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cedar Falls AND 3. The Hilton Garden Inn Cedar Falls. These blocks will be available for a discounted hotel rate until May 15, 2024. Please consult the travel tab for more information.

Formal/semi-formal wear

Mostly HOT. Who knows, Mother Nature may bless us with a beautiful summer day. However, not to fear rainy or terribly hot weather, as all wedding festivities will be taking place inside.

As always, as soon as you can RSVP, the better. This gives the couple time to accommodate for guest size. Officially, please have RSVP’ed by no later than May 15th, 2024.

The couple has picked some especially delicious items for everyone to enjoy. There will be tasty appetizers right after the ceremony. And the reception food will be buffet style. Also, for anyone with food restrictions or allergies, make sure to state in the RSVP, so the caterer can plan accordingly. Also there will be a kids selection for the couples nieces and nephews.
