WEEKEND ACTIVITIES

We're very excited to have you join us for our ceremony and reception!

For those of you staying in town for the long weekend, we wanted to share some daytime activities for Saturday/Sunday to help you explore the area. We've also included details for other events on Thursday night and Saturday night (RSVP needed SAT only). We hope you can join us for some or all of these additional celebrations!

Thursday 8/15/24 8pm

Main Street, Middletown CT

Bride and Groom will be at Sicily Coal Fired Pizza from 8pm - 9:30pm for anyone who would like to stop by, we would love to see you! Food and drinks are available for purchase.

Friday 8/16/24

Wedding Day

Pavilion on Crystal Lake

Ceremony 5pm

Cocktail Hour 5:30pm-6:30pm

Reception 6:30pm-11pm

In lieu of formal transportation from the reception to the hotel, the bride and groom will be providing an Uber code for discounted rides to assist guests in safe travel.

Guests are welcome to drive to the venue and leave their vehicle overnight. Vehicles must be retrieved by 8:45am Saturday morning.

Saturday 8/17/24

Daytime Activities: We are still nailing down our plans, but here are some popular activities to consider in the area.

Portland Golf Course West

Quarry Ridge Golf Course (Portland)

notes: public, longer, slightly pricey, well regarded

Stanley Golf Course (New Britain)

notes: public, good compromise on both price and play

(Disclaimer: we have not had the chance to play any of these courses ourselves, so these references are not first-person recommendations from Katie and Alex)

Hiking/Walking

David Mathieu Jr. will be providing a guided birding tour.

Meet in the lobby at 12:30pm to organize car pools.

Saturday 8/17/24

Spare Time 6pm

Vernon, CT

We're planning a get together for Saturday, 8/17/24 at SpareTime in Vernon, CT starting at 6pm. Join us for a night of Bowling and Arcade fun! We're reserving lanes and ordering delicious food. We kindly ask that everyone attending pitches in $30 for the night, which covers both bowling and food. Don't forget to RSVP on your invite so we can make sure to save you a spot!
