According to&nbsp;Kathryn...&nbsp;

Dave and I have known each other for&nbsp;15+ years,&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;have the collective wisdom of our bridal party&nbsp;to thank for introducing us.&nbsp;(Sorry it took us so long to realize we were&nbsp;perfect for each other.)













Over the years,&nbsp;Dave made what I can only assume were&nbsp;bold&nbsp;attempts&nbsp;to impress me: a)&nbsp;joining the&nbsp;Marines, b) graduating from&nbsp;Georgetown, and&nbsp;c) writing&nbsp;mystery dinner&nbsp;theater scripts starring me&nbsp;as&nbsp;the femme fatale. Alas, while I was indeed impressed,&nbsp;the timing was never quite&nbsp;right,&nbsp;so we remained&nbsp;"just friends."&nbsp;Luckily,&nbsp;we&nbsp;managed to stay&nbsp;in touch over the years, and always looked forward to catching up whenever&nbsp;we were&nbsp;home from whichever&nbsp;new city each of us was&nbsp;living in that year.&nbsp;













Then one day&nbsp;Dave made a trip back east for&nbsp;his niece's&nbsp;birthday. That&nbsp;evening, he&nbsp;asked if I&nbsp;wanted to join him and the guys for a beer at a local watering&nbsp;hole.&nbsp;A quick hello turned into several hours of meaningful&nbsp;glances while&nbsp;debating&nbsp;the relative&nbsp;merits of&nbsp;Game of Thrones fan&nbsp;theories, before we realized the guys had all left us sitting alone in the booth. Apparently&nbsp;we might be more than "just&nbsp;friends" after all.&nbsp;













This March, we moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;Richmond, where&nbsp;we currently&nbsp;live&nbsp;with our two kitties Dewey and Bebop, and our&nbsp;very good dog, Link. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!&nbsp;

Hi dearest friends and family,

As of May 28th, all restrictions regarding gatherings have been lifted in Virginia.&nbsp;



Of course, safety and health of our guests are paramount.&nbsp;We hope that all of our guests who are able will be fully vaccinated by September (we'll have at least 1 infectious disease specialist at the wedding, so you've been warned!)&nbsp; We will be taking lots of precautions anyway - hand sanitizer, masks on hand, etc. - to make sure we can celebrate without worry.&nbsp;And finally: if for any reason you feel uncomfortable attending gatherings at this time, if&nbsp;you think you may&nbsp;have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days,&nbsp;or if you have COVID-19 symptoms -- we ask that you please stay home and celebrate with us in spirit. Garrett and Dave have been friends since Chantilly High School (#nonewfriends), where they bonded over WWF and Smash Brothers. GB is also dad to James & Peyton, and husband to Kristina (Kathryn's sister/matron-of-honor). Garrett is a partner sales manager at Google.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Kristina is Kathryn's sister, best friend, and role model (no, you're crying!). Kristina is also&nbsp;mama to James & Peyton,&nbsp;and married to Garrett, Dave's best man&nbsp;(#sisterwives?). Kristina is a Senior Associate for&nbsp;health communications&nbsp;at Booz Allen Hamilton.&nbsp;

Laurence and Dave have been friends since the 4th grade, sharing&nbsp;&nbsp;a love of all things&nbsp;sports (except fantasy football).&nbsp;Despite making&nbsp;many cross-country drives together, the two remain friends today.&nbsp;Laurence is currently a&nbsp;senior data analyst at&nbsp;Douglass Emmett.&nbsp;

Lauren is Dave's sister, Kathryn's friend since their&nbsp;Franklin Middle School days, and the brightest ray of sunshine you'll&nbsp;ever meet! Lauren is mama to Lily, Jack, & Hannah, and married to the 'other'&nbsp;David. :) Lauren is an award-winning agent/realtor with Long &&nbsp;Foster.&nbsp;

Taking the train from D.C. or Philly?
