Katia and Odysseas met in January of 2019 at a bar in Berkeley. They were both attending University of California, Berkeley. Here, they are celebrating Katia’s 22 birthday at Corso in Berkeley. This was the first time that Ody met Katia’s parents; this probably justifies his uncharacteristically shy look.

May 20, 2019. Old Downtown San Diego. Berkeley finals are finally over. Katia and Odysseas take some of their first trips together.

January 2020. Katia’s first trip to Greece. That’s when she meets Odysseas’ family. Odysseas shows her around Athens, including the Parthenon in Acropolis and the temple of Poseidon in Sounio.

July 2022, Switzerland. Katia and Odysseas travel to Switzerland where they visit the Matterhorn Mountain in Zermatt.

December 2022. Paris, France. Katia and Odysseas travel to Paris where they enjoy as much as the city of light has to offer as possible!

December 2023. Berkeley, California. Back to where it all began, Odysseas starts a scavenger hunt for Katia. This involves multiple letters hidden around Berkeley that give clues on the final destination, the botanical gardens of UC Berkeley. That’s when Odysseas proposed and Katia said yes!

Katia and Odysseas unified their families from California and Athens!
