Laura has been my role model and idol for my whole life, so there is no one else in the universe who I would rather have this top honor.

The first time I saw this new kid from Germany on the school bus with his show and tell item 25(!!!) years ago, I knew I wanted to be friends with him. Fast forward to middle school, high school, college visits, Sam moving to Florida (without telling me) while I was studying abroad in Germany, our friendship has stood the test of time. I wouldn’t be the person I am without the love, light, and laughs Sam has blessed me with.

Jeff drove into my life (he was driving our beloved friend, Kendra’s old trans am the first time I met him), and I knew I wanted to be friends with him. Jeff is my life partner in crime, and our 20+ friendship has also stood the test of time. We have shared so many special memories, music, adventures, and LAUGHS throughout the years, and I am so happy and proud to have him by my side.

Morgan was the first person, co-worker, and friend I met in Chicago. 12 years and countless memories later, this is just the first of many decades of friendship to come.

I knew we were destined to be besties the moment we bonded over the book, "Rebecca." 4.5+ years and one EuroTrip down, there is no sign of our best friendship slowing down!

Little did I know when I started Reed Smith over 6 years ago that I would find one of my lifelong best friends, Tyme!

Aaron and I are childhood friends dating back to elementary school where we played dodgeball and football during recess. We played numerous years of soccer together and have remained friends through the years.

Adam and I are childhood friends. Our bond strengthened through years of child care and summer camp. His support and friendship over the years have enriched my life immeasurably.

Amir and I were first neighbors at The Castle but quickly became friends. Amir's passion for life and connections with people was the initial bridge for friendship. Many passionate Fifa games were played, and soccer or fútbol games were watched together.

Evan and I became friends in middle school and played several years of club soccer together. Although Evan is a goalie, he was and still is a stand-up guy. Evan and I were also roommates for several years after college at a place called The Castle, where we met Sam and Amir.

Sam and I became friends at The Castle. Sam was a pioneer of the AirBnb movement and had many medium to long-term residents from Europe who would stay at his apartment. Much frivolity occurred between late night musical sessions and shooty hoops. Sam is a person of integrity and we're grateful to have him as part of the wedding.
