We met like most modern couples, online. Katie had a picture in one of her friend’s apartment (shout out to Haley!) and Alex noticed right away that it was his building in Minneapolis. Alex asked Katie out pretty quickly and planned their first date for early April 2024. They went to a dive bar in Minneapolis for the date and ended up talking for hours and hitting up a few more spots as well.

After that, both of us knew pretty quickly that we had found our person. Sunday night dinners and pickleball at Martha and Dan Conners house, and planning visits for Tammy and Paul Miller to come to Minneapolis and us to go to Glenbulah became the highlight of summer 2024!
