Right across the street is the historic Saint Paul hotel with a beautiful hotel bar - great spot for a cozy drink or appetizer

This cute and classic candy store is a St. Paul favorite! Just blocks from the hotel it is easy to walk to and check out. When Katie worked at Ecolab in downtown St. Paul, she would walk over with coworkers to get a mid day sweet treat! Alex loves the Chicago Mix popcorn from here.

Known as one of the best burgers in the Twin Cities, this spot is a favorite for Katie and Alex - we definitely recommend getting the Swiss Aioli with the fries.

(Fun fact - the Bridal boutique right next door is where Katie got her wedding dress!)

One of our favorite breakfast spots - we have taken lots of friends and family here and don’t think we have found a single thing on the menu we haven’t liked!

Right across the street from Hope Breakfast Bar - this place has some of the prettiest (and yummiest) coffees and lattes! It was also where Katie and Alex had one of the first dates
