The evening will start with our ceremony, between 4:45 and 5:00PM, following with a cocktail hour and appetizers while the bridal party takes some pictures. Once we are back we will open up the reception area for people to take their seats and have dinner. After dinner we will do the typical wedding things and dancing!! Once the venue kicks us out, it is on to the PIZZA PARTY!! We are providing pizza at Old Chicago right outside of the Holiday Inn and hope everyone will join us for some hangout time.
What is the attire?
The attire is formal. We want to see everyone in their best! This means suit and tie (or equivalent) for the men, and evening dresses for the ladies. No need for tuxes!
Remember, this is Colorado in the middle of fall, so please keep an eye on the weather and plan accordingly!
There will be heaters for the cocktail area and the reception is indoors, but please still bring a coat if you tend to get cold.
What if I didn't RSVP?
To help us with our planning, we kindly ask that you RVSP by the date we've provided. If we don't receive your RSVP by the date specified, we can't make exceptions and will have to mark you as "no". We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, and we don't want to risk any hiccups in the planning process.
But let's be honest, if you missed the RVSP date, Nick will call and text you until you respond and we get an answer.
Can I bring my kids?
We love your kids, however, we have extended invitations only to the individuals listed on the invitation. We hope you understand and use this evening as an opportunity to enjoy a romantic night out and spend time with friends!
Can I substitute another person if the original invitee is unable to attend?
While this may seem okay, we do have a secondary list of friends that we would love to spend this day with, and request that you do not substitute people in.
Can I bring a date/plus one?
As much as we would love to accommodate everyone, we have finalized the guest list and don't have any extra spots for plus ones. If a plus one was extended to you, their name would be listed alongside yours on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!
How do I get to the venue?
We are providing a shuttle to and from the venue, but space is limited. Please let Katie know ASAP if you would like to take the shuttle.
Other alternatives are to drive yourself, and we highly encourage carpooling as parking may be limited.
Uber/Lyft may also be considered, but please look into prescheduled rides, as cell service is scarce up in the mountains.
