What should I wear?
This is a formal event and we'd love for you to please dress to the nines in your sharpest BLACK dress or suit. Think of this day as your own gala, dress to impress and work that red carpet! (Note: NOT black tie/tuxes not expected, just attire in the color black, aka black jacket and pants with white shirt, black dress, etc.)
Please keep in mind that the ceremony will be outdoors in a grassy area (weather permitting). Feel free to wear flats/block heels etc. if need be. The cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors.
I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?
We have a room block available at Fairfield Inn & Suites as well as at the Seaview Hotel. Both hotels will have transportation to and from the venue for the wedding. However, there are tons of hotels in the area if you'd prefer to stay elsewhere! Please see the "Travel" tab for more information.
What's the best airport to fly into?
The closest airport to the venue is the Atlantic City Airport (ACY). This is a smaller airport, and may have limited flight times. However, it's only a 20-minute drive to the venue. The bigger airport is the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) which may have better times/prices. However, it is about an hour-long drive to the venue. We recommend checking out Google Flights to see what works best for you!
What's the address of the ceremony and reception?
The ceremony and reception are both being held at Renault Winery: 72 N Bremen Ave, Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215. Renault is quite large, but when you arrive, the ceremony space will on the right hand side of the road. When you arrive, notify staff that you are attending our wedding in the Champagne Ballroom and they should escort you to the area.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm and you may begin seating as early at 4:00pm. You are welcome to come on-site earlier than this and enjoy a drink or snack at the restaurant on property that's right next door, Taste 1864!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We will have a "social media minute" to take all of your pictures in. After that, we ask that you leave your phones in your pockets/purses during the ceremony so you can be fully present for our wedding.
How do I get to the venue from the hotel?
Transportation will be provided to and from the hotels on the day of the wedding. Transportation will begin at 2:45pm to the venue. Please make yourselves comfortable and grab a drink or snack at Taste 1864 at Renault prior to the ceremony.
Renault will provide transportation via golfcart once on property to get you from Taste 1864 to the ceremony area.
How do I get back to the hotel from the venue?
Transportation back to the hotel will begin at 9pm and continue until 11pm if you want to stay after the ceremony for a drink or bite to eat back at Taste 1864.
Is there parking on site if I'm not staying at a hotel?
Yes! You are welcome to park on site in one of the parking lots and the staff at Renault will drive you over via golf cart to the ceremony area.
Can I bring my main squeeze?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, there will be a place to share who your plus one will be once you RSVP. If you don't receive a plus one, please respect our wishes as we're trying to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. Thank you for your understanding!
Are my children invited?
Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair. Being a parent is hard, you deserve the night off!
What if I don't RSVP in time?
Unfortunately, we will need to mark you as a 'no' if you do not RSVP in time. We will need to provide exact final head counts to our vendors by a certain date. Please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible.
What happens if I'm late to the ceremony?
If you are late to the ceremony, you will not be allowed to enter the area and will be asked to wait until after the ceremony concludes. There are a lot of moving pieces between both vendors and bridal parties that we don't want to interfere with. To prevent this from happening we have transportation arranged from the hotels starting an hour and fifteen minutes before the ceremony as well as parking available on site.
You are welcome to join us for cocktail hour and the reception afterwards, but we do not want any interruptions during the ceremony.
