Hi everyone! Katie and Devan here, and we are so incredibly thankful to have all of you here with us to celebrate this special moment.

Our story began in November of 2021. We met, connected instantly, and by December, we officially became a couple. From the start, everything just felt easy—like we had known each other forever. We’ve shared so many firsts together since then, and each one has brought us closer.

One of our early adventures was when we visited Atlanta and got to see his favorite baseball team, the Braves, play the Phillies.

We met each other’s families and started learning each other’s traditions—holidays, special meals, little family quirks—and slowly blended our worlds together. We’ve adopted more animals than most people would consider “normal,” and through that have experienced both the joy of new life and the heartbreak of loss. But through it all, we’ve been there for each other.

We moved in together, supported one another through college, and even tackled long-distance stretches when Katie would go home for breaks. There were late-night FaceTimes, countdowns to reunions, and a lot of patience, but we made it through stronger than ever.

We’ve flown across the country to visit Katie’s brother and sister-in-law, and we’ve built so many fun memories traveling and exploring together. Whether it’s a spontaneous trip or one we planned for months, we’ve loved every moment. From Carowinds and Universal Studios to Busch Gardens, California Adventure, and of course, Disneyland—our inner kids are definitely alive and well.

But beyond all the fun and adventure, it’s the quiet moments—the everyday routines, the small laughs, the inside jokes—that have really built the foundation of our relationship.

We truly found our best friend in each other when we least expected it. And as we begin this next chapter as husband and wife, we are so excited to continue growing, learning, and creating more memories—side by side.
