Their love story began on October 17th, 2020 and they have been each other's best friend ever since! Vinny was a groomsman at the Andrade wedding while Katie was attending as a guest. Vinny first laid eyes on the "Nut Girl" during cocktail hour. He waited all night to say hello! It wasn't until being forced to sit together at the after party that they would get to talking. Talking led to flirting and flirting led to hanging out after everyone left. They circled the hallways of the hotel for hours drinking White Claws and getting to know each other. They both didn't want the night to end! Vinny would ask Katie out on a date for later that week. Katie was so nervous she didn't eat an ounce of food!

On January 1st, 2021 Vinny would ask Katie to officially be his girlfriend at the Andrade's house! She was over the moon excited. They would spend everyday together, spending endless hours in the Gerardis' basement. Later that year, they decided to take the next step in their relationship and move in together. In April of 2021, Vinny and Katie moved into an apartment in Harrison, NJ. Here they started to build a life together. They would enjoy cooking together, playing board games, watching their favorite shows, and above all they shared each day together growing as a couple. In the winter of their first year living together, Katie was able to convince Vinny that they needed a dog. With the help of family, on December 24th, 2021 they welcomed their adorable puppy Molly into their family.

They built a life together as partners in crime! They do everything together and couldn't imagine it any other way. Finally, on July 8th, 2023 Vinny popped the question that Katie had been not so subtly hinting at. He tricked her into thinking they were having an early birthday dinner followed by a little family photo shoot on Garret Mountain. With Molly present, Vinny got down on one knee and asked Katie to marry him. They cannot wait to continue their love story as the new Dr. and Mrs. Gerardi!
