If you've never been to Austin, we promise you're going to love the city. If you have been, you're probably not looking at this page because you know there are endless things to do.

Some of our favorite parts of Austin are:

-The food... trucks, cafes, fancy restaurants. It comes in endless forms and it's all incredible.

-The booze: breweries, distilleries, speakeasies and much more. If you're a whiskey fan, we recommend checking out Still Austin distillery. It's Ian's favorite bourbon.

-The whacky culture. Get out in South Austin and check it out!

-The capitol building. It's huge, beautiful, and a must-visit for any Texan.

-The water. The Colorado River runs through the heart of the city and it'll be a great time of year to get out and paddleboard!

If the downtown situation isn't for you, take Saturday to go west and see the wine country in Fredericksburg or check out Enchanted Rock State Park. We think the hill country is one of the country's treasures and I'm sure you'll agree after a weekend in Austin.
