Katie and Patrick’s story has always been an untraditional one. Starting from the very beginning it's safe to say it wasn’t love at first sight. Katie took some convincing on if an immature freshman in college was truly worth her time. Overtime their relationship slowly grew. It wasn’t until Patrick was by her side everyday in the hospital the final days of freshman year that Katie thought maybe, just maybe, this guy could be more than she originally anticipated.

Over the summer they became official despite Patrick’s bleached blonde hair and Katie’s brother saying he looked like a fairy. The next three years of college Katie and Patrick grew up together. Learning more about each other each and everyday. They became each other’s best friends.

After a year of living in Chicago, Patrick bought a ring, asked for permission, and in the first home official home they had decided to share together he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Thank god for all of us she said yes!

Immediately, Katie knew what she wanted her wedding to be. Far from traditional, the farthest from it. A small, intimate, crazy wedding in Las Vegas with close family and friends. On September 2, 2022 Katie and Patrick had that wedding, a weekend advertised as a co-bachelor/bachelorette party turned into a wedding.

Despite being already married, Katie and Patrick knew that it is the people in our lives, that make life special. They both wanted to celebrate this moment with every important member of their lives. That’s what brings us here to Rives Junction, Michigan to celebrate the wonderful marriage of Katie and Patrick.
