Our Wedding

Katie and Patrick’s story has always been an untraditional one. Starting from the very beginning it's safe to say it wasn’t love at first sight. Katie took some convincing on if an immature freshman in college was truly worth her time. Overtime their relationship slowly grew. It wasn’t until Patrick was by her side everyday in the hospital the final days of freshman year that Katie thought maybe, just maybe, this guy could be more than she originally anticipated. Over the summer they became official despite Patrick’s bleached blonde hair and Katie’s brother saying he looked like a fairy. The next three years of college Katie and Patrick grew up together. Learning more about each other each and everyday. They became each other’s best friends. After a year of living in Chicago, Patrick bought a ring, asked for permission, and in the first home official home they had decided to share together he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Thank god for all of us she said yes! Immediately, Katie knew what she wanted her wedding to be. Far from traditional, the farthest from it. A small, intimate, crazy wedding in Las Vegas with close family and friends. On September 2, 2022 Katie and Patrick had that wedding, a weekend advertised as a co-bachelor/bachelorette party turned into a wedding. Despite being already married, Katie and Patrick knew that it is the people in our lives, that make life special. They both wanted to celebrate this moment with every important member of their lives. That’s what brings us here to Rives Junction, Michigan to celebrate the wonderful marriage of Katie and Patrick.&nbsp;

5:00PM - Ceremony

Please plan to arrive no later than 4:45PM, a shuttle will be provided to the venue from the hotel for those interested. There is also a parking lot onsite.&nbsp;

5:30PM - Cocktail Hour 

Drinks and passed hors d'oeuvres&nbsp; will be served.

6:30PM - Dinner Stations

Strolling stations will be opened with small bites inspired by some of Katie &amp; Patrick's favorites! Please feel free to continue mingling or take your seat to eat. All guests will be asked to take their seats at 7:30PM.

8:00PM - Dance Floor Opens

What should I wear? 

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up to celebrate with us. The dress code is black-tie optional. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, midi formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear a suit &amp; tie or tux. We want you feel your best!

We're so thankful you're making the trip to celebrate with us! We have blocked rooms at the following hotels from Friday, October 27th - Sunday, October 29th. The hotels are right next door to each other and can be booked through the links below. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Hotel

A shuttle will be provided to and from the venue. The shuttle will make two trips to the venue and will pick up guests at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel. The first shuttle will pick up guests at 4:00PM, the second shuttle will pick up guests at 4:30PM. Shuttles back to the hotel will leave at 9:45PM and 10:30PM. Parking is available free on-site! Cars can be left overnight, but need to be picked up no later than 11:00AM the next morning.
