Our First Photo Together - October 9, 2020

Katie and Russell met through mutual friends in the summer of 2019 while they were both interning in Dallas.

In December 2019, while they were both in Masters programs at Texas A&M’s business school, Russell began pursuing Katie. They eventually reconnected at a crawfish boil in the spring of 2020 after Covid had cancelled in-person classes. They started talking more consistently and eventually went on their first date at Koppe Bridge in College Station while moving out that summer.

They both moved to Dallas to start working full time, and officially began dating in September 2020. Katie began working at PwC as a Cybersecurity Consultant, and Russell began his career at Prudential Private Capital in finance.

In June 2023, Russell started a new job in Corporate Development at Targa Resources in Houston. They have been doing long distance, commuting between Houston and Dallas, for what will be almost 2 years. Katie will be relocating to Houston to live in the Heights area with Russell.
