Our wedding is located in Camarillo and we are encouraging people visiting from out of town to stay in the Thousand Oaks area, or even Ventura! Dillon and I live in Pasadena, so we can give some recommendations of what our life looks like there, but here are some recommendations specifically nearer to the area of our venue:

Go big or go home! While you're out here, it could be a good opportunity to visit one of our favorite places!
The Huntington Gardens are in our neck of the woods over in Pasadena. This is a beautiful spot, especially during spring, to stroll around the huge gardens. Just trust us on this one. Ticket prices can be found on their website
you'll have the choice of a bunch of different beaches to visit. our favorite to go to in this area is to drive to malibu and visit Point Dume or ___. You can also try Will Rogers State Beach.
Head north to "Ventura highway, in the sunshiiiiine" and spend the day in Ventura! We love Ventura and think you will too. You can visit the pier, beach, and you'll find plenty of things to do if you walk down Main Street for some thrifting, food, drink, ice cream etc.
If you find yourself in Pasadena, you have to visit some of our favorite spots. For a pastry, crossiant or coffee, visit CAR Artisanal Goods and be sure to try their famous chocolate crossiant... you'll thank us later!
For lunch or dinner, we are regulars at HomeState on Lincoln. Get some queso, tacos, and a margarita in our honor.
