While Dillon and I live in Pasadena, our wedding venue is closer to Thousand Oaks which is a great area to stay in. About the same distance in the other direction is Ventura. We recommend looking for hotels or AirBnbs in Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Camarillo, Ventura etc. if you wish to be close to the venue.

We do recommend that you rent a car if you're traveling in. While California is a hugely populated area with plenty to do, most things are spread apart enough that require your own transportation.
