WHERE TO STAY
We recommend visitors stay in the city of New Orleans, in either the Uptown/Garden District or the French Quarter. These two areas are well-known, well-maintained, and have much to offer. These are safer areas in the city, but we still recommend that you travel everywhere in groups at night to be cautious. Please reach out to the bride or groom with any questions on hotels and other accommodations.
Uptown/Garden District
The Uptown /Garden District area of the city is near the famous Audubon Park and is a good option for those preferring a quieter experience close to the wedding venue. This area offers a charming atmosphere and is a 10-15 minutes drive to the city's main attractions. St. Charles Avenue and Magazine Street offer a number of hotels and restaurants that are sure to please. A couple recommended hotels:

French Quarter
The French Quarter is a good neighborhood for those looking to experience the more historic and famous parts of the city, including nightlife and music. It's also near Frenchmen Street, which offers excellent live music every night of the week, even if it is a little noisy for a hotel. A couple recommended hotels:
