Katie and Isa met during undergrad in San Francisco. After a year and a half of friendship, Isa finally plucked up the courage... to apologize to Katie for flirting with her. After 7 full business days of dial-up static in her head, Katie finally asked to set up a formal business meeting that you might call their first date.

Since then, the intrepid pair have moved across the country to Atlanta, moved in together, and adopted a stinky little boy (their dog, Momo). At the beginning of March 2024, Isa proposed underneath the Aurora Borealis in Iceland after 6 years of adventures, laughs, and a lot of to-do lists.
