What is the dress code?

We encourage guests to come in formal or cocktail attire. We also recommend breathable fabrics and deodorant. Although our venue will have AC, it's Savannah in August... It's going to be hot in the outdoor areas. If you so choose, Isa formally invites folks to wear a traditional filipino shirt, Barong Tagalog, or filipiniana for our celebration.

What’s the best way to get to Savannah from my location?

Flying: Savannah has as international airport ( Savannah Hilton Head International, SAV) which is a convenient 22 minutes from Downtown Savannah. Driving: While we can't make an itinerary for everyone here are a few helpful tidbits about how far Savannah is from family hot spots. From Charleston, SC: 2 hours. From Atlanta, GA: 4 hours. From St Paul, MN: 20 hours. From CA: Please don't do this.

How far is the venue from Savannah?

The venue is roughly 15 minutes from downtown Savannah.

What is the parking situation?

There is ample free parking on site of the venue. You are allowed to leave your car at the Mackey House overnight as long as you pick up your car by noon the following day. Please feel free to drive or Uber.

Are kids allowed at this wedding?

Yes! There's no age restriction to party!

Are there any wedding superstitions guests should keep in mind?

Unfortunately, Isa is "a little stitious". There are many filipino superstitions when it comes to weddings but there are only two in particular that Isa would appreciate if you keep in mind: no red & no pearls. Although red it typically an auspicious color, it is believed to bring bad luck if worn at a wedding. Similarly, pearls symbolize tears so they are believed to bring sadness when worn by a bride. If you happen to gift pearls to the brides, they will wait to enjoy them on a different day.

Is Momo also gay?

Only culturally.
