Midginibil

Midginbil is a beautiful, lush part of the Tweed Hinterland. The wedding venue is nestled between glorious mountains, near Wollumbin (Mount Warning) and the small town of Uki.

Midginbil Eco Resort

Midginbil Eco Resort is brimming with natural beauty and wildlife. We are excited for our guests to bask in the glorious surrounds of Bundjalung land.


Here is some important information about the facilities at Midginbil:


MOBILE PHONE SERVICE & INTERNET

Due to our location we have very limited phone service. Mostly, only Telstra phones work here. We have a landline phone in the homestead entrance in the alcove, which can be used for emergencies and upon request. There is an emergency contact lists provided next to the phone.


HOMESTEAD

The homestead is an incredible 120 year old building will be open to guests throughout their stay. It hosts a spacious deck, perfect for some relaxing cocktails and group catch ups. Tea/ coffee is available from the homestead throughout your stay. It's also where all meals will take place during the weekend (apart from the wedding dinner).


VALUABLES

We do not give out room keys. All the guests are friends and family. The venue is exclusive for the wedding only.

If you have anything valuable we recommend you lock it in your car or don’t bring it.


POOL

We have a solar heated, salt water pool. It is only for use during daylight hours. It cannot be accessed after dark.


TENNIS COURT

We have a tennis court & racquets & balls for your use. They are only basic items, so if you are a serious tennis player, we recommend to BYO.

Getting to Midginbil

The best way to get to Midginbil Eco Resort is via car.


Midginbil is approximately a 1 hour drive from Gold Coast Airport and a 2hr drive from Brisbane.


For those travelling interstate the easiest way to get here would be by hiring a car from the airport. For those who won't be driving, we have created a facebook group to help you organise a carpool/lift to the lodge with other guests. Visit the carpool facebook group
