A stunning scenic 6 mile drive between Noordhoek and Hout Bay on the Atlantic Coast on the south-western tip of South Africa. It’s one of the most scenic marine drives in the world.
It is a toll road with a £2.70 fee to travel on the road.
Acclaimed as one of the greatest botanical gardens in the world. Set against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain it offers several trails along the mountain. There is a tree top canopy viewing area.

Experience a day of wine tasting in the best way by doing a hop on and off Franschhoek wine tram! There are many wineries to pick from and don’t worry if your not into your wine most of them also serve fantastic food, beer and cocktails too.
From Cape Town it’s £31pp for coach travel & the wine tram fee (all wine tasting at the winery’s are not included)
Alternatively when you are staying in Franschhoek for the wedding - the tram stop is a short walk away.
A 4x glass wine tasting at most venues will be £5.
Rugged rocks and sheer cliffs towering more than 200m above sea and cutting deep into the ocean, provide a spectacular background for the park rich bio-diversity.
Take a ride on the Flying Dutchman funicular to the steps of the new lighthouse and look out points. It also features the most South-Westerly point of Africa and where the two oceans meet.

A must do when in Cape Town. Take the cable car up to the top of Table Mountain to take in the amazing views. If you are feeling ambitious you can also hike up.

Hike up Lions Head
Take a trip out to Boulders Bay on Cape Peninsula in Simons Town to visit a colony of African penguins.
You can view them from a viewing platform via the main entrance or if you follow the path to the right of the main entrance you’ll be able to get direct access to the beach where you can swim with the penguins and climb over some boulders to get a selfie with them.
Entrance fee is £8.50 pp and one of the highlights in Cape Town.
A popular beach for sunbathing and swimming
Take one of the four daily boats to Robben Island, where the evocative museum reveals the price South Africans have paid for democracy.
Robben Island is most famous as the place where Nelson Mandela, the first democratically elected president of South Africa, was imprisoned for 18 of his 27 years in jail. The island has since become a symbol of the triumph of democracy and freedom over oppression.

Visit Cape Town's famous harbour and its natural setting, the Cape Floral Kingdom. Table Mountain and Cape Point are two of the well-known landmarks this city is home to, as well as various museums, hotels, the Clock Tower and many more.
Just hop off when you see something that tickles your fancy - another bus will be along to hop back onto in no time!

First, enjoy breakfast at the stunning Lodge. The continental breakfast consists of freshly made muffins, quiches, yogurt, cereals, toast and cold meats, tea, and coffee.
Meet your skipper for the day, who has extensive experience working in the unique marine area off the southern Cape coast. The skippers log more contact with great white sharks than anyone else worldwide.
Have a brief introductory presentation on the Great White Shark and learn how the activity provider works with the sharks in the area.
Spend 2 to 4 hours at sea, depending on how often the sharks visit the boat. Be sure to ask as many questions as you wish.
Hop into the cage, which takes 6 people at a time. Each person spends about 20 minutes in the cage.
All scuba equipment, including 7 mm wetsuits, is provided – you don’t need a scuba license to cage dive. On your return to dry land, you will return to the Lodge for a light lunch.

We have a range of unique activities for you to take part in or just meander your way around our facility and spend some time watching our various Ambassador animals. All encounters and experiences are undertaken according to comprehensive safety protocols for both the guests’ and animals’ welfare. Based in Somerset West.
Spend some quality time with one of our adult male cheetahs and learn more about this African predator. During this 20 minutes experience, our Ambassador will be off lead at times for a unique photographic opportunity. You will be accompanied by two Handlers and two Back-handlers, who will be available to answer all your questions and give added information.
