Max and Katie's story begins on the South Lake Union in Seattle and a day that would change their lives forever.

They spent the afternoon talking and laughing, discovering shared interests and values, and dodging the occasional errant Canada goose. From their love of travel and adventure to their shared dislike of USC, it felt as if they had known each other forever.

As the months turned into years, their relationship grew stronger. They faced challenges and celebrated triumphs, always supporting each other. Their adventures took them across the world: Marfa, New York,

Florence, Chattanooga, Atlanta,and Portland. They found joy in the simplest things – cooking dinner together, hiking, or cuddling on the couch with a good movie.

The proposal was during a romantic getaway to Old Town Alexandria, the charm of the brick and historic buildings set the perfect scene. As they strolled through the town, they found themselves at the marina, surrounded by the serene waters and picturesque views of our nation's capital. With the twinkling lights reflecting on the water, Max got down on one knee and asked the question. Her answer was an enthusiastic “Yes!”

Now, as they stand on the brink of a new chapter, they are filled with excitement for the future.
