Kirby VanLint is my sister and Matron of Honor for the wedding! She was married in October of 2018 to Colin VanLint, and lives in Brandon, SD. I'm so excited to continue making memories as sisters during this exciting time!

Jessie is my older and favorite sister (also only sister). She is about 3 and a half years older than I am. I spent much of my time growing up annoying her. She sometimes would, however, be willing to play with me. I remember most playing her in one on one a lot or other shooting games. She was taller than me (and still is) and would often beat me. I would get upset and throw the ball at her because I lost. Then she wouldn't play with me anymore which made me even more angry. Fast forward to now and Jessie is one of my best friends. She has been such a positive influence in my life and always one of the first people I talk to when I need advice. Jess and I are dressed weird in the photo because we threw a 70s themed party for my Dad's 60th birthday. However, my mom and us were the only ones that dressed up.

Slade is a year younger than me and grew up about a mile and a half down the road, which in the country means you are neighbors. We went to the same church and same babysitter as well, so we spent a lot of time together. Slade is that brother that I never had. There are a lot of great Slade stories; however, my favorite is the time that he came over to play when we were little. He walked in my house with a plate of meatballs. I asked him why he brought those and he replied, "Just in case I get hungry." After about an hour of playing, Slade got hungry and decided it was time to eat some of the meatballs. He heated up the plate and started eating, kept eating, and finished the meatballs without offering me one. We both went to SDSU and roomed together for a year in the dorms as well. Slade continues to be one of my closest friends who I have a great deal of respect for and value his opinions.

Kara is "my person" as we like to refer to each other :). We met in college, were roommates in Brookings and again when we moved to Sioux Falls after college. Our relationship is full of goofiness, jam sessions, and heart to hearts! I can't wait for her to stand by my side and celebrate!

Sam is one of my very close friends. I met her in college, where we had almost every class together, and lived together for one year! We always share our teacher talk, our love of books, and have a blast being goofy together! I am so thrilled she will be standing with us on our big day!

Nick, more commonly known as Shoes, is a college friend. I got to know Shoes through another good friend of mine, Jake Lindgren. Shoes was a sophomore living in 1st floor Binn at SDSU while I was on the 3rd floor. I spent a lot of time in 1st floor with Shoes, his roommate Luke, and others down there my Freshman year. It was a great time. Shoes and I continued to become close friends. There are many great memories with Shoes, a recent one that sticks out in my mind is the time we practiced our rendition of the song Landslide for hours...Katie can confirm that it probably wasn't as good as we thought it was at the time. I have always been able to ask Shoes advice on tough questions and he has always been able to be honest with me even if it's not what I want to hear.

Miranda and I have become so close over the last year! Barre3 brought us together, and now you can find us listening to music, drinking wine, dancing in her apartment, and enjoying are girls' nights! Her friendship has become something I am so grateful for. I am so glad I get this second round to add another bestie to the party!

Pat is my first cousin. So I have grown up around him at family gatherings as well as going to school with him. He is a few years older than me so as a kid, I would do what he told me to. Young Pat didn't always have great intentions so sometimes he would lead me astray and get me in trouble. There are many many stories I have with Pat. One time he shot and arrow straight up in the air and told me to dodge it. Another time he and some other cousins, and my sister, convinced me that mountain monkeys were a type of animal that lived near Freeman and that I better watch out for them. I was terrified. I never did end up seeing a mountain monkey. They must be an elusive animal. All in all, Pat and I have remained close through the years. This is probably redundant but I really do value his advice as well. I know that he is going to help me do the right thing. It is great that I get to see a close friend like Pat at family gatherings. I couldn't find very many pictures of Pat and I. So this is what we got.

Ashton and I met through Adam and Trey! She's quickly become one of my closest friends and I am so thankful for her friendship. Whether we're trying new fitness classes, drinking wine, or chillin with the boys, its always a blast! I'm lucky I get this crazy opportunity to add more people to our bridal party!

Adam is that friend that makes me mad more than anything but I still like him for some reason. He is my brother-in-law Eric's younger brother. I met him in college at SDSU and had a great time with him instantly. He spent a lot of time with Slade and I at SDSU during my sophomore year and then lived off campus two doors down from me later on in college. I was fortunate, and sometimes unfortunate, to get a lot of time with Adam. A story about Adam that comes to my mind is the time he hid an old bag of lettuce under my bed in my room in college. I couldn't figure out what smelled so bad. Eventually I found the bag and didn't even have to ask who did it. That story pretty much sums up Adam. I really do respect him and cherish time I can spend with him. In the photo, poor Stella is being held by her Uncle Adam. My dad, Terry, is the guy in the middle.

Eric married my sister. For those of you that know Adam, Eric is basically an older, slightly more mature version of him. I first met Eric after a basketball game my junior year. We shared an awkward bro hug after the game and that was it. As Eric continued coming around with my sister Jess, I continued becoming better friends with him. He was always a lot of fun and likes sports, so we got along well. The first time Eric came to a family Thanksgiving or gathering, he drove Jessie's car into the ditch. So he got off on the right foot. Laying all jokes aside, Eric has become a very close friend of mine. He is a good guy that is going to give me good direction when I need it. I am so thankful that my sister found a guy like him to bring into our family.

Maura is my personal attendant and I couldn't be more excited to have her take part in the wedding! We met in college, roomed together, and had a fabulous time! She is the most determined, fierce, and awesome girl I know and I am so lucky to know her!

Allie is one of my best friends from college! We met while working at the University Bookstore and our friendship grew! We have so many fun memories to look back on, and so many new memories to make in the future! I am so excited to have such a fun, loving, caring friend to stand with me on the big day!

Karlie is friend that goes all the way back to high school! We became so close in college when we roomed together for 2 years. I will always be so grateful to have Karlie as a friend, she brings so much joy, fun, and laughter everywhere she goes! I am beyond excited to have her stand with me!

Jean and I met in college and we’re roommates! She has an adventurous spirit and is such a sweet, kind person! I’m so happy she’s celebrating with me on our big day!

Stella is the daughter of Trey's sister Jessie and her husband Eric. She is sweet, spunky, and will make the most adorable flower girl!

Sweet Benny B joined the world in July, shortly after our wedding! We won't be having a ceremony, but we still want to give him the official title of ring bearer ;)
