Through their years at Drew University, Katie and Zach would often run into each other in the athletic forum, suite parties, and various Morristown late nights. When Zach injured his shoulder and was completing physical therapy with the school trainers, Katie's now maid of honor, Emily, was also completing PT. After Emily's suggestion of them going on a date, the rest was history.




After graduation, a job opportunity moved Zach to NYC. It was there that their love truly blossomed. Shortly after, another opportunity took Zach and Katie to Washington state. Some of Katie's and Zach's fondest memories are their cross-country roadtrip and living in the state of Washington for a summer.




Number 19 has a special meaning for both Katie and Zach, as well as Katie's soccer number and Zach's baseball number growing up. For this reason, Zach proposed to Katie on August 19th, 2023 at Catbird Music Festival. In true Katie and Zach fashion, they celebrated a bit too aggressively and missed their favorite artist, Tyler Childers. Hopefully they will pace themselves and make It to their first dance to hear their favorite song.
