Katie and Farnam's Wedding

We absolutely cannot wait to celebrate our union with all of you in such a magical place! The wedding weekend will take place at Deloro Valley in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains. We hope you'll join us for the entirety of the weekend, as we have plenty of fun planned and would love to share the experience with all of you! There is plenty of space for everyone to stay comfortably onsite and you'll be treated to plant-based (vegan) meals throughout your stay. The ceremony will take place on Saturday evening at 6:30pm, followed by a reception and after-party to celebrate late into the night. Our Wedding

Deloro Valley

The wedding weekend will take place at Deloro Valley, a former childrens’ summer camp nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The venue encompasses 132 acres of forest, fields and rolling hills. There is a beautiful river, a huge swimming pool, a cooling zone, saloon, club and enough rooms to sleep all of us comfortably! Schedule

Deloro Valley is a 2.5 hour drive from both Sacramento and San Francisco. If you're flying in from out of state (or country), it will be easiest to fly into one of these two airports. Contact Katie and Farnam for assistance with arranging transportation! Travel

We would love for our guests to stay onsite at Deloro Valley and make a full weekend of the celebration with us! The venue can accommodate up to 300 guests, so there is plenty of room for everyone who would like to stay. Deloro Valley offers several accommodation options, including lodge rooms ranging from private king rooms to bunk-style rooms, as well as charming cabins and glamping tents nestled throughout the property. Accommodations

The bride and groom will be providing nourishing, plant-based (vegan) meals and snacks throughout the weekend, from welcome drinks and dinner on Friday night to a farewell breakfast on Sunday morning. All meals and snacks have been thoughtfully planned to keep everyone well-fed, satisfied, and energized for a full weekend of celebration. The menu will be fully plant-based, but guests are welcome to bring additional food items if they prefer. There will be limited storage space available, though cooking facilities will be minimal. Camp stoves are allowed. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided throughout the weekend as well, but please feel free to bring any favorites to enjoy or share. If you have any additional dietary restrictions, please let us know via your RSVP!

A Note from the Bride

Eating plant-based is something I care deeply about, and for this weekend we’ll be sharing a fully plant-based menu that reflects that part of my life. It’s meaningful to me, and I’m so grateful to be able to share it with you in a way that still feels abundant, celebratory, and delicious. My hope is simply that everyone feels well cared for, well fed, and able to fully enjoy the weekend with us. Thank you for being here—I can’t wait to celebrate together.

Food

Friday Arrival & Dinner

Arrive comfy and be ready to change for the White Party! Nothing fancy, just something white to start the weekend off together.

Daytime Saturday

Saturday will include yoga, brunch and a pool party! Please bring your own yoga mat and towels for the pool. Come prepared for any and all activities that you'd like to participate in. Bonus points if you bring an extra yoga mat or two!

The Ceremony

The ceremony dress code is Garden Party. When selecting shoes, please keep in mind that the ceremony site is a 5-7 minute walk from the main lodge and there are grassy/uneven areas throughout the ceremony site. We strongly recommend avoiding high heels. A light jacket might be helpful as it does get chilly once the sun goes down.

After Party

Anything goes at the after party! Stay in your ceremony outfit or change into a far-out, festival inspired outfit. Feel free to be your most extravagant and authentic self!

Dress Code

Do I have to stay all weekend?

No! But we'd love for you to ;) The rooms are priced for two nights (Friday and Saturday) and we'll feed you for as long as you stay. If you choose to stay off-site and attend the ceremony only, please let us know in your RSVP.

Is there a lot of walking involved?

There can be! All of the festivities aside from the ceremony will take place within close proximity to each other, especially if you are staying in the Lodge. The cabins are a 5-7 minute walk from the lodge so keep that in mind when booking your accommodations! Please let Katie and Farnam know if you would like transportation assistance around the property.

Are children welcome?

Absolutely! There will be plenty of entertainment for your children throughout the weekend!

Can I bring my dog?

No, this will be a pet-free weekend. Please leave your furry friends at home. The venue will fine you $300/pet/day.

Can I bring my own food?

Absolutely! We fully understand that most aren't used to a plant-based lifestyle. There will be some food storage and you're welcome to bring your own cooler or grill. Sandwiches are an easy option as well ;)

What should I pack?

The cabin and lodge rooms are all fully equipped with bedding, pillows and towels. Just bring the clothes you'd like to wear and any snacks or drinks you'd like to enjoy. The venue is large, so comfortable shoes are recommended. It will also be chilly at night so bring a light layer for the evenings. Don't forget about yoga, the pool party and the white party when packing as well! Any pool or regular toys are also encouraged ;)
