Travel

BY PLANE

The closest airport is Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) which has direct flights from London (LHR) and most major US cities. It is a 40-minute drive from the airport to the farm, and there are both taxis and Ubers available, as well as a train.

Newark International Airport (EWR) is a 90-minute drive and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) are both a two and a half hour drive.

By train

There are direct Amtrak trains from New York to Paoli, the nearest station, which take 2 hours and 5 minutes. It is then a 15-minute drive to the farm.

There are Amtrak trains from Washington DC, with a transfer in Philadelphia, to Paoli, which take a little over two and a half hours.

Local trains from Philadelphia (the Paoli/Thorndale R-5 line) run every 30-50 minutes and take about 40 minutes to Paoli. Note that there are only "local" trains on the weekends, which take the full 50 minutes. The trains run every hour on Sundays.

Transportation

By Shuttle

There will be shuttles to and from the Desmond and the Residence Inn by Marriott on both Friday and Saturday, running late into the evening (morning).

BY CAR

Valet parking will be provided at both Charlestown Farm and Broadwater Farm.

Guests driving to the wedding on Saturday are advised to please use the pasture entrance, located directly opposite 2565 Charlestown Road. It is a gravel road, marked by a Broadwater Farm sign.

By Uber / Taxi

Uber is available, though wait times can be up to 20 - 30 minutes.

Philadelphia

If you want to spend the day in Philly, we'd be happy to share some favorite restaurants, cafes and things to do, starting with coffee at Elixr, freshly made doughnuts at Federal Doughnut, the raw bar at The Oyster House and pho at Stock, plus picking up some delicious snacks at DiBruno Bros.

There are a range of terrific Italian, Spanish and new American restaurants run by locally acclaimed chefs Marc Vetri and Jose Garces as well as restaurateur Stephen Starr.

There's also the Philadelphia Art Museum, National Constitution Center, and historic sites of Old City.
