Things to Do

Activities

Summit County is an outdoor lover's paradise but also has small towns with Hallmark channel vibe main streets to give that retail therapy.

Hiking

Kayla, Callie, and Dylan love to hike. If you are looking to hike like us, we recommend Rainbow Lake for the beginners or people looking for a relaxed walk!

If you are feeling good about yourself and want a challenge continue up to the summit of Mt. Royal.

For a long hike through the woods, Peaks Trail from Breckenridge to Frisco is beautiful walk. Use bus system to shuttle between the two towns.

Looking for a real challenge and wanna climb a mountain? Buffalo Mountain outside of Silverthorne is one you can see from our wedding venue and one the three of us have done together!

Looking for the ultimate, hardcore, Colorado hike? Message Dylan personally and he will set you up. He may even join you on it!

Shops/Resorts

Summit County is home to three world class ski resorts and has another two just 30 minutes away in another county. Around these resorts you have beautiful ski towns with local shops and also some really cool retail stores that you may have never scene.

Frisco has a marina you can rent kayaks, relax on beach, or rent a boat. Also Frisco’s main street is something straight out of a Hallmark movie!

Copper mountain is ten minutes from Frisco. Copper has a village area with kids activities and also activities for the adults.

Breckenridge is fifteen minutes from Frisco. Breck has activities at there base area up on Peak 8 which you can access by riding the free in town Gondola. Breck also has tons of hiking trails and the best area to see moose. Breck’s main street is probably the most famous in the area and has tons of options for food and shopping!

Keystone is twenty minutes away from Frisco; another resort that runs activities and has a base village. It’s a little farther away but also has moose in the area. They have downhill mountain bike trails with lift access.

Silverthorne/Dillion is fifteen minutes away from Frisco. Here you will find alot of outlet stores and your more main stream retailers. You may end up wanting to rent a boat while you are here to go on Lake Dillion. Dillon Marina is perfect location for that.

Vail is thirty minutes away from Frisco. A little longer drive, but Vail is a sight to see and an experience. They have a lot going on and one of the most beautiful villages we've ever scene. A lot of amazing restaurants and shops.

Into comfy sweatshirts? About 45 minutes away in Leadville the highest city in North America is Melanzana. These sweatshirts are only made there in their small store. You need to make a reservation on their website to even shop there. They also do not sell them online and you are online allowed to buy two a reservation. Once you get your two you cant get another reservation for six months. If this interests you Dylan highly recommends and he wears a size medium ;)

Fan of South Park? About 45 minutes away is Fairplay which is the town South Park is based on. Very cool place to see but also is just a one horse town. There’s also the famous Casa Bonita in Denver but you do need reservations.
