What is the Dress Code?
Our dress code for the reception is "Black Tie Optional, but Encouraged".
We love an excuse to dress up, and especially so on New Years Eve! Gentlemen, anything from a dark suit to a tux will do - don't forget your tie or bow tie, and James Bond attitude. Ladies, gowns that dazzle, sparkle, and shine... dress to impress and feel sublime! Just one small request to keep the vibe right, please kindly refrain from shades of white.
We know it will be a long day and want you to know that an outfit change is A-OK! At Catholic weddings, it is not uncommon for guests to have an outfit change between the Ceremony and the Reception. This tradition stems from the desire to wear something more reserved for the church and then switch to something more festive for the reception.
When do we need to RSVP by?
Please let us know by Saturday, November 15th.
May I Bring a Guest/Date?
Invited guests will be listed by name or as '& Guest' on the formal invitation. If you have a long-time significant other who is not specifically mentioned, please reach out to us.
Are Kids Allowed?
While we love the littles, this is will be an adults-only wedding reception. We hope you understand and can use this evening as a "Night Out" for yourself!
What time should I arrive?
Our wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Please arrive at the church by 1:45 p.m. to allow adequate time for parking, finding seats, and silencing electronic devices. Anyone arriving too close to the processional may be asked to refrain from entering until after the service begins.
What is the driving situation & where do I park?
The church, hotel, and venue all have free on-site parking, however we want our guests to be aware that rideshare services like uber and lyft are NOT readily available in this area. Those that are staying in our hotel block may make use of our shuttle from the hotel to the venue (please note, the shuttle is not provided to/from the church).
