Kayla and Ryan's story isn't a typical "when we met" narrative. Growing up in the same community, their paths constantly crossed. They jokingly claim their bond began in middle school health class, Ryan (perhaps strategically) borrowing Kayla's notes. Though their paths diverged after that class, fate had something bigger in store.

The winter of 2014 brought the infamous Atlanta snowpocalypse, shutting down schools and bringing Kayla and Ryan back together. What started with Ryan bringing friends over to Kayla's house for a snow day blossomed into two weeks of constant companionship. This rekindled connection formed the foundation for their journey as a couple. By May 2014, Ryan finally made things official, asking Kayla to be his girlfriend.

Inseparable throughout high school, Kayla and Ryan were the epitome of high school sweethearts. From cheering on Ryan during Friday night football games to spending prom together, they continued to make memories. They even tackled academics and competitions like DECA side-by-side. This strong bond extended to their friend group, creating a network of love and support.

Graduation loomed, bringing both excitement and the bittersweet reality of distance. Ryan headed to the University of West Georgia, while Kayla pursued her dreams at the University of Georgia. Despite the miles, their trust and commitment remained unwavering. Visits became cherished moments, with Kayla experiencing Ryan's college life through fraternity gatherings and Kayla introducing Ryan to the UGA gameday atmosphere with her family. These treasured weekends fostered their independence while keeping their connection strong.

College graduation marked another milestone. Navigating the world of work and adulting presented challenges, but they faced them head-on, their love a constant source of strength. A little over a year later, Ryan popped the question at a place that held special meaning for them – Kayla's parents' lake house, a sanctuary they both cherished.

Kayla and Ryan continue to blossom, sharing their home with their feline companions, Biscuit and Gravy. As they embark on this new chapter as husband and wife, they exude excitement for what the future holds.

They've been looking forward to this day for a very long time, and it's finally here. They are so excited to celebrate with you all.
