Kayla and Brendan met at work at Arbella in the fall of 2017 -- friends of friends who spent a long year getting to know each other. Brendan finally decided to throw caution to the wind and ask Kayla out on November 2, 2018. Their first date was over fried chicken and delicious drinks -- yum! -- at Southern Kin Cookhouse in Assembly Row.

One thousand, three hundred and sixteen days later -- sticking together through thick and thin, ups and downs, and literally a global pandemic! -- on June 10, 2022 Brendan got down on one knee in front of Kayla’s family and asked her to marry him.

She of course said, YES!.

In the five and a half years they’ve been together they’ve travelled from Maine to Nashville to San Diego to all around the Caribbean, and more, finding the best food and making so many wonderful friends and even more wonderful memories along the way.

Kayla and Brendan can’t wait to get married in front of you all and dance the night away celebrating the joy of their love and all the people that have been a part of it! They want to thank you, truly and sincerely, for being part of their story.
