Getting to Santa Barbara
By Plane
Santa Barbara Airport
The Santa Barbara Airport is a small airport located 15 minutes from the heart of downtown. It's easy to take public transportation from here.
Los Angeles International Airport
LAX is about a 2 hour drive from Santa Barbara (96 miles but you will likely always hit some traffic). If you're looking for more flight options, there is an airbus that will take you directly from LAX to downtown Santa Barbara or you can take the Amtrack or even rent a car!

Amtrack Santa Barbara
The Amtrack Surfrider rides all the way from San Diego to Santa Barbara. I have caught it from Old Town SD, Anaheim, Fullerton, and even LA. It's a hassle free way to travel in, and a beautiful view of the coast!

Santa Barbara Airbus
The Santa Barbra Airbus will take you to and from LAX from the La Cumbre Plaza in downtown Santa Barbara. The bus runs from 8am to 10pm with 8 convenient times to travel. It cost about $55 round trip.
