Will and I have been together for 7 years! We met at Penn State and were on the same THON Philanthropy Committee. On the day before my 21st birthday, I asked my new committee members if anyone had a drink dispenser for my party. Will graciously volunteered and he ended up coming to my party with mutual friends we realized we both had. I was the first of most of my friends to turn 21, so I ended up going out to the bars for the first time with Will and our mutual friends! From there, we became quick friends and started to develop feelings for each other. We would stay up late talking about anything and everything, showing each other music, and laughing until the sun came up. We realized when we had to say goodbye to each other before Winter Break that what we had was special. Two months later, we were sitting in Will's black pickup truck when he asked me if we could do something for Valentine’s Day. In that moment, the song, “Star of the Show” by Thomas Rhett came on and we both knew it was a sign. This was the song he showed me the first night we started talking. He asked me to be his girlfriend and the rest is history!

In our seven years, we made it through three years of long-distance and are finally engaged!
