Formal - A formal wedding dress code is slightly less formal than a black-tie event. While this is still an elevated event, men are not required to wear a tuxedo (although you can if you'd like). A jacket and tie or a traditional suit is acceptable! Women are more than welcome to wear a floor-length dress, pant suit, a nice jumpsuit, or a dressy, knee-length cocktail dress.
Why is there a gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour?
Great question! The church is about 45 minutes away from the reception venue and we want to allow guests time to get freshened up and check into the hotel if need be. We also plan on taking a few pictures at the church and then have scheduled pictures from 4pm until 5pm. We hope to do this beforehand so we can greet you all at cocktail hour!
