Breathtaking views of the Columbia River Gorge, quaint old orchards with Mt. Hood as backdrop, acres of world-class wine-producing vineyards, waterfalls, local art galleries, and historical byways are just the beginning of what you can expect to experience in Hood River, Oregon. Hood river is world famous for windsurfing so we definitely recommend spending some time at the waterfront watching the windsurfers. The town is very walkable and full of amazing local food and breweries. Some local spots we recommend are: pFriem Family Brewing, Ferment Brewery, Pine Street Bakery-- just to name a few. There are also plenty of hikes, wineries, and orchards in the area accessible by car/Uber. We hope you enjoy Hood River as much as we do!
