Our Wedding

<p style="text-align: left;">Paul and I had our first encounter back in 2014 at a Peruvian restaurant and bar in Beachwood, Ohio. I was sitting with a guy friend at the bar and I turned around and noticed an attractive man behind me who was looking out on the dance floor until his attention was averted over towards me. I took the first step in approaching Paul, who thought I was with the guy sitting next to me; I made it clear to him I was not by asking Paul to dance and I gave him my number too. Paul was charming and pulled me in with his African accent as we were dancing and having a good time and then things took an interesting turn when I asked for his age... hahaha. He told me he was born in 1992 and was 32 years old, I told him that couldn't be right because I was born in 1989 and was 25 years old, so I caught him in a lie and asked for his license and then he said he was a refugee and didn't know his true age and told me I was ruining the night for him, so like the refugee he was, he fled danger from my interrogation and I was puzzled why this handsome African prince left me. At the end of the night, I received a text from Paul asking if it was me that he met tonight and he was sorry for acting the way he did and he wasn't really 32 he was 52 years old and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio his whole life and had two sons in college and he hoped that I would be blessed with a good man one day. Paul's sincere apology took me by surprise and I was flattered by his honesty and I told him he didn't have to lie to me. I accepted his apology and told him I wouldn't mind dancing with him again and he asked to take me out dancing the very next night at the same place! We have been together in each other's lives since this time, some of our chapters together in life were skipped over and unfinished, but our story picked back up where it left off when we reconnected again back in 2019 and we've faced the storms and uncertainties with Paul's prostate cancer and life events in general and we're still holding on and not letting go. Our love has seen us through every hardship and we are ready to take another step to finalize our commitment and devotion to one another, to become one instead of two.<br /></p>

Krystina has been a longtime friend since 2007 when she came to my hometown and I took my first job at her store. I got to see her get married and watch her have a family and now she will be there to see my wedding, I cherish our journey and adventures along life's path!

Sisters at heart and for life, we grew up together and her sons are my nephews. We've shared good memories and I will always be grateful to have her as a sister and support me on the biggest day of my life! 

Emily 

Sisters at heart since our adolescence! We have been there through joys and sorrows and continue to see our friendship bloom! I'm so happy to see her thrive as a good mom to her daughter, Rose.
