Having been to welcome nights prior to weddings in Ireland, this has been a fun way to get to know friends/family of the bride and groom and a great segway into the fun days that lie ahead. It will be a very busy day in Belfast as everyone will officially be off for Christmas break, so embrace the busy and joyful bars! If you can’t make it to welcome night, absolutely no stress, this is not mandatory. We can’t wait to see you!

Transportation will be provided for guests staying at the Malone Lodge Hotel. A shuttle will take guests to the ceremony and return them to the hotel afterward for cocktail hour and dinner. Please check back closer to the wedding day for exact shuttle departure times. Cocktail hour and reception will take place at the Malone Lodge Hotel following the ceremony.

Please feel free to bring comfortable shoes to change into. Cash/Credit/Debit (Tap) only bar - there are many ATMs around the city where you can get Northern Irish currency (Pounds) you need for the bar and your trip! If you prefer to take out cash before you land in Ireland, your bank should be able to assist you.

As wedding guests in the past, day two is often just as fun as the day of the wedding. All guests are welcome to continue on the celebrations in a much more casual fashion with the bride and groom and other guests. There is no pressure as guests and come and go as they please! Day two offers guests to continue to celebrate with the bride and groom and spend time with old friends, and maybe some new friends too!
