While our story does not have the most romantic beginning, it truly was a "meant to be" situation. On October 26th, 2023, I woke up to a Snapchat request from a guy named "Ricky Bobby." I immediately went and stalked his other social media profiles and found 3 things: He went to Mississippi College (just like me), he loves to hunt birds (which I am deathly afraid of), and he shoots competitive archery (which was way above my high school archery experience). For some crazy reason, I accepted his request, and the very first thing he asked was, "Do you even duck hunt?" After a couple of weeks, he asked me on a date, and we started dating on November 10th, 2023. We were both nervous wrecks and almost made excuses for why we couldn't go out, but I am so thankful we didn't. From that moment on, we have grown in our love for one another and our faith in the Lord. There is truly no other explanation for why Ricky and I met other than that it was the Lord's will. We thank God each and every day for placing us into each other's lives and for giving us the opportunity to love each other and grow closer to Him together.
