What time should I arrive?
The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm. The ushers will begin seating guests at 3:30 pm. No one is allowed to enter or be seated once the ceremony begins.
What should I wear?
We are asking that everyone dress in church-casual attire. Ideas for women include a skirt or dress pants with a cute top, a jumpsuit, or a flowy dress. Examples for men include a button-down or collared shirt with slacks, khakis, or nice jeans. The groomsmen will be wearing hats, so hats are acceptable. Please keep in mind that we will be dancing so wear dancing shoes!
What will the weather be like?
This is a loaded question as we live in Mississippi. The weather in December can range from cold and snowy to 90 degrees. While our venue offers both indoor and outdoor options, we have opted for an indoor ceremony and reception due to the uncertainty of the weather.
Is there on-site parking?
Yes. All vehicles must be parked in the large gravel lot. No vehicles are allowed in the grassy areas.
Can I bring a plus-one?
While we would love to celebrate with everyone, due to limited venue space, we ask that you only bring the guests who are named when you RSVP on our website. Your invitation will state the number of seats reserved for your party. There will only be a seat and a meal for those on our final guest list.
Is this a child friendly wedding?
Absolutely! Invited guests will see that their children are listed under their name when they RSVP. Please ensure that you RSVP for your children as well.
Is childcare provided?
We want your children to have a good time and celebrate with us. For this reason, childcare will not be provided, nor will there be a separate area for children. Please note that all children under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times per the venue contract.
What is the wedding timeline?
Guests can begin arriving at 3:30 pm. The ceremony will start at 4:00 pm with the reception immediately following. The reception will end around 9:00 pm.
Am I allowed to take pictures during the ceremony?
Out of respect for the bride, groom, and photographer, we kindly ask that all cellphones are to be put away during the ceremony. Once the bride is settled at the altar with her groom, the officiant will allow a brief moment for guests to snap a few photos.
Will I have to travel to the reception?
No. Both the ceremony and reception are at the same venue.
Will dinner be provided?
Yes. A catered meal will be served following the ceremony.
What will the reception look like?
After the meal and cake cutting, guests will make their way to the dance floor. Get ready to dance the night away as the DJ lights up the room and plays your favorite songs. The DJ offers the option for guests to text song requests to him directly. All songs are fair game as long as a clean version is available. Remember, there will be children present, and we want them to have a great time as well.
How do I RSVP?
Please RSVP on this website by clicking the RSVP tab and typing your first and last name. This will also allow you to RSVP for those in your party. Your invitation will also have a QR code linking you to this website to RSVP.
When are RSVPs due?
Please RSVP no later than Monday, October 13th, 2025. We understand that life gets busy, and for this reason, reminders will be sent out the week before the due date. If we have not received your reply by Tuesday, October 14th, we will regretfully have to assume that you are unable to attend. We must be strict with the deadline as numbers are due to the caterer.
What are the safety guidelines?
Guests are allowed to use any of the designated indoor and outdoor areas. There are two ponds without barriers. No one is allowed to swim, jump off the dock, or fish at any time. Minors must have adult supervision at all times per the venue contract. There will be video security cameras recording at all times located in the main event areas inside and outside.
Will alcohol be served?
The bride and groom have chosen to have an alcohol-free wedding as the groom doesn't drink and the bride is underage. The venue requires all alcohol to be served by an insured licensed caterer. Because this will not be provided, alcohol is prohibited from being brought onto the premises.
Is smoking/vaping allowed?
The venue is a nonsmoking facility. Smoking/vaping is only permitted in the designated areas outside.
What should I do if I have any other questions?
Please feel free to contact the bride at (601) 473 - 6024.
