OUR STORY - THE RANDOLPH PERSPECTIVE

Our story started off like any traditional love story these days... a lot of swiping left. But eventually you come across something truly spectacular. And in this case that special someone happened to ghost me for over a month before finally responding. When we eventually started to talk the rest was history. Even her name was history because I completely forgot it on our third date. Clearly I had to be doing something correct though because she agreed to marry me 💁🏻‍♂️There was obviously a few details in-between me forgetting her name and us getting engaged that led to me falling in love with this truly amazing woman. For example, she almost broke my wrist the first time I tried to kiss her, she must have known I love women who are hard to get haha. But honestly she is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She has love and compassion for all of those who are lucky enough to be in her life. She has a passion for helping others and this is as clear as can be with her job. People would approach us while we were out and thank her for amazing things she did to help them while working. Also, the best dog mom ever to our two amazing kids. Time has proven she is loyal, trustworthy, loving, caring, passionate, and insanely hot. I am the luckiest guy there is to call Kaylen my fiancé and soon to be wife! ❤️

Our love story didnt unfold the way ld dreamed a love story would, but then again, who can predict how these things go? It began when I moved to Wilmington, NC, eager to carve out my own little corner of the world. This adventure started off... well, with me home alone, bored, and swiping on an app (how romantic, right?). Then I swiped right on this guy, not knowing that one day hed become my husband. Fast forward to our first date, and I was instantly captivated by how passionate he was about his family and how genuine he seemed. Any man who jokingly asks if youre pooping when you take a bathroom break is clearly a keeper, right? The time between then and now has been nothing short of extraordinary. Lets not forget him proposing on our favorite beach causing Moby to instantly get zoomies ❤️Ive discovered my best self through him. Matt brings out the best in everything and everyone. I genuinely cant imagine life without him. This man has taught me so much and is the funniest, most compassionate, thoughtful, selfless-and lets not forget stinkiest—man Ive ever met. Our love story is nothing short of amazing, and I cant wait to see how future chapters unfold. Together, we can conquer anything, whether its in real life or in any video game, as long as we have each other.

Either hike up or drive up to the Mill Mountain Star. This is why Roanoke is called the “Star City”. Catch a cool view of the city and surrounding mountains from the top. Mill mountain zoo close by as well!

Take a scenic drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Stop at scenic overlooks, wineries, or restaurants along your way. Make it as short or long as you would like. Checkout one of our personal favorite stops one the way "Roanoke Mountain overlook".

Something fun for the whole crew! Inside you will find an interactive museum, arcade and the roof top provides beautiful views of the Starcity.

Center In The Square

Described as Roanoke's "hidden gem". Here you will find beautiful scenery, paddle boards, kayaks, running trails.

Carvins Cove Natural Reserve

One of the many beautiful hiking trails in the Roanoke area. You will also find some great food and views at the lodge.

Right down the road from the venue! Some great spots for food, coffee and drinks.

One of Kaylen's favorite events in Roanoke which happens to be the same weekend as our wedding! If you are in town for the weekend, definitely check it out Friday night and Sunday (our wedding will be the most fun though on Saturday (; )

Anthem GO Outside Festival

Another great pumpkin patch located in Christiansburg they have so many great activities and food! They also have brewery. The views are incredible.
