About Our Love

Over the past several years, we have grown together and continued to support each other. Together, we push each other to grow, embrace new experiences, and step beyond our comfort zones.

Looking back, our journey has been filled with love and adventure, from bright Manhattan streets to Lake Murray sunsets, Key West beaches to Pennsylvania’s snowy hills. Each memory strengthens our bond, and we look forward to exploring more of the world together.

About Our Relationship

Our story began at the start of 2019, when Kaylie’s roommate Lauren introduced her boyfriend Ben and his roommate, Nate. We built our relationship in South Carolina surrounded by friends, spontaneous lake trips, USC tailgates (go Gamecocks!!), and all-day study sessions.

Alongside Lauren and Ben, we navigated the transitions of college life, learning and growing side by side. Our home was filled with laughter, love, and Ben's Spotify playlist (great music, let me tell you). It was a time of joy and community. We will always cherish this time in our lives.

After graduation, life took us in different directions. Kaylie off to New York City and Nate deep in his videography career in South Carolina. Over the course of a year, we navigated the challenges of long-distance relationship, staying connected through FaceTime calls, Nate’s frequent trips to the city, and Kaylie’s countless family gatherings, we were never missing each other for too long.

Eventually, Nate came up to New York and joined Kaylie in the hustle and bustle, where we reunited and began building a more permanent life together. We then rescued our two sweet cats, Sage and Astro.

As we navigated this new phase of our lives, our bond grew stronger. In the chaos of the city, we find solace in late-night conversations, shared passions, and endless laughter. Together, we discover the joy of exploring new places, trying new foods, and making amazing memories. Through it all, we've been each other's rock, supporting and uplifting one another through every triumph and challenge. From navigating post-graduation uncertainty to celebrating our first career milestones, we've stood by each other's side, ready to tackle whatever life throws our way.

Our story is filled with laughter, love, adventures and quiet moments shared. Together, we've weathered quarantine and celebrated small and large joys of life, growing stronger with each passing day.

We're filled with gratitude for the love and support of our friends and family. Your encouragement, kindness, and generosity have touched our lives in immeasurable ways, and we're humbled by the outpouring of love as we begin this new chapter together. Our wedding day is a reflection of the love and connections that bind us all, and we're forever grateful for each and every person who has been a part of our lives.

Historical Fun

Perfect for history buffs and lovers of America! The State House bell became a herald of liberty in the 19th century. "Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land Unto All the Inhabitants thereof," the bell's inscription, provided a rallying cry for abolitionists wishing to end slavery. The Anti-Slavery Record, an abolitionist publication, first referred to the bell as the Liberty Bell in 1835, but that name was not widely adopted until years later. Millions of Americans became familiar with the bell in popular culture through George Lippard's 1847 fictional story "Ring, Grandfather, Ring", when the bell came to symbolize pride in a new nation. Beginning in the late 1800s, the Liberty Bell traveled across the country for display at expositions and fairs, stopping in towns small and large along the way. For a nation recovering from wounds of the Civil War, the bell served to remind Americans of a time when they fought together for independence. Movements from Women's Suffrage to Civil Rights embraced the Liberty Bell for both protest and celebration. Pennsylvania suffragists commissioned a replica of the Liberty Bell. Their "Justice Bell" traveled across Pennsylvania in 1915 to encourage support for women's voting rights legislation. It then sat chained in silence until the passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920. Now a worldwide symbol, the bell's message of liberty remains just as relevant and powerful today: "Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land Unto All the Inhabitants thereof"

Great for a quick iconic training sequence while in the city! Since Rocky’s first triumphant on-screen run up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art in 1976, the 72 steps have become an international destination — and a Philly rite of passage. Travelers from around the world embark on their own pilgrimage up the stairs, pumping their fists in the air as they cherish the spectacular view of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and the city skyline. To finish off the experience, head back down to the bottom of the stairs and snap a photo with the bronze statue of Rocky, originally created for Rocky III.&nbsp;
