If you would like to join in on our adventure around Iceland, you're more than welcome to!


Plan is tentative, but here's what it's looking like (with the potential campsites listed):


Day 1: October 4th – Höfn to Skaftafell

Skaftafell Campground: Located within Vatnajökull National Park, this campsite operates year-round. Amenities include restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. While there are no cooking or dining facilities, the campground provides Wi-Fi coverage. campervaniceland.com


Day 2: October 5th – Skaftafell to Hveragerði

Reykjamörk Campsite, Hveragerði: This campsite is open all year and offers facilities such as showers, washing machines, and dryers. It's conveniently located near the Reykjadalur valley, known for its hot river, and the Hveragerði Geothermal Park. campervaniceland.com


Day 3: October 6th – Hveragerði to Þingvellir National Park

Þingvellir National Park Campground: The campground at Nyrðri-Leirar remains open year-round. Facilities include restrooms and a laundry room. Showers are available but may be closed during freezing temperatures. thingvellir.is


Day 4: October 7th – Þingvellir to Reykjavík

Reykjavík Campsite (Laugardalur): This campsite operates throughout the year and is situated near the city center. It offers amenities such as showers, restrooms, and laundry facilities.


Day 5: October 8th - Head out to some place warm and sunny (tbd)


We'll be in our camper van and stopping to explore along the trip and will be staying at campsites each night.
