What should I wear?
The dress code for our wedding is garden party formal. Still wondering what that means? Please wear cocktail attire with a summer-like twist (floral patterns, flowy dresses, colored suits or a fun tie). Having some fun with color and print is encouraged but not required. Please note that ties are optional. The event is on the beach and guests must walk on sand from the resort, so plan your shoes accordingly.
Please Note: No shorts or jeans.
Please note that the Welcome Party and Farewell Brunch are casual attire. We look forward to celebrating with you comfortably!
Are kids invited?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event with the exception of children from our immediate family. We appreciate you making childcare arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.
Do I get a plus one?
Invitations were/will be addressed to all invited and your envelope will include your partner's name or "and guest" if we have room for a plus one. Due to the venue capacity, we appreciate your understanding. Additionally, you can check your party on the RSVP page.
When will I be receiving my invitation?
Invitations will be sent out winter 2025. The invitation will contain a link to RSVP here on our website. Please let us know via the bride if you need to update the mailing address you sent when you first provided us with your contact information.
Are there any other wedding events I can attend?
Yes! Two days prior to our wedding we will have a welcome party for all guests who arrive to Mexico.
We will also have a farewell brunch the morning following the wedding. All details will be included in your invitation and on our Home page. If you choose to stay at a hotel other than the Bride and Groom's, you can still join for these events. You will just need a day pass which allows you access to the entire resort from 10am-6pm. However, it is important to note we cannot guarantee there will be day passes available as it is based on resort capacity.
When should I book by?
We recommend you make your room booking and flight arrangements as soon as you get the formal invitation. Hotel information will be on the website by the time your receive your formal invitation.
What’s the best way to book my trip?
Book flights with your preferred airline to Cancun Airport (CUN) or Tulum Airport (TQO), and book your room at a resort of your choosing.
We will have detailed information on our 'Travel & Accommodations' tab including hotels, airports, car rentals, and more.
We recommend booking a flight & hotel package as they typically provide transportation to and from the airport and it will simplify your travel. Be sure to check your hotel to see if they provide transportation. If not, You can make transportation reservations, reserve a rental car or, a short walk from the Cancun Airport, there is Uber. (They do not allow ride shares at the airport but there is a pickup spot just outside of the airport, ~10 minute walk)
How will I get around in Mexico?
There are multiple options.
A lot of resorts included hotel transportation upon arrival and departure.
If you do not plan on traveling around, transportation to and from the Bride & Groom's hotel to the wedding venue will be provided. (Once hotels are confirmed, that information will be available on the 'Travel & Accommodations' tab)
Additionally, rental cars are very cheap in Mexico. They are $5-$10 a day! Plus insurance.
Do you have a gift registry?
Your presence at our wedding is present enough! However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we've created an online registry with TheKnot, please see the 'Registry' tab for the full details.
Who can I contact with an additional questions?
For any further questions, please contact the bride or groom directly.
