Dear friends and family,&nbsp;&nbsp; Let us take you on a journey, a journey of love and adventure that brought Kazz and Katie together. Katie moved to Florida for the warmer weather and scuba diving; Kazz had moved to Florida because he was sick of the mountains and the cold in Colorado. We met in the most unexpected but perfect way - at Molly's Pub in Sarasota, FL in August 2022, this was after Kazz extended our match on Bumble. From the moment our eyes met, there was an instant attraction that we couldn't shake. Our first date was quickly followed by 10 straight days together surviving Hurricane Ian, and right away we knew we were meant to be together. It was love at first sight and our love only continued to grow stronger with each passing day.&nbsp;We were inseparable. From magical days at Disney to stunning sunsets on the beaches of Sarasota, our relationship has been an incredible adventure filled with love and laughter. We've shared thrilling scuba diving experiences and embraced life’s joys together. Adopting our puppy, Kyrah, added a new layer of happiness, and our move to Texas opened the door to even more exciting moments. With season passes to Six Flags, and developing Kazz's pizza palette, we continued to create beautiful memories side by side. Fast forward to Valentine's Day in 2024, when we took a last-minute trip to Cancun. While taking a morning walk on the beach, we stumbled upon a beautiful gazebo over the water. We danced around in the soft sand and up to the gazebo, then after a spin and a dip, Kazz got down on one knee and asked Katie to be his forever. Of course, she said yes without a moment's hesitation.&nbsp; Our hopes and dreams for the future are simple but profound. We dream of traveling the world together, creating a loving home filled with laughter and joy, and growing old in each other's arms. With true love by our sides, anything is possible.&nbsp; To all of our loved ones who have supported us on this journey, we want to extend their deepest gratitude. Your love and encouragement have meant the world to us, and we are so grateful to have you at our side as we embark on this next chapter of our lives together.&nbsp;&nbsp; So please, join in celebrating our love and the life we are building together. Liz and I have been partners-in-crime since our college days, and life has been an adventure with her ever since. From being roommates to being the friend who shows up for everything, she’s one of the most important people in my world. She brings the energy, the laughs, and the hype—so having her as my Maid of Honor was the 2nd easiest “yes” ever. I can’t imagine this day without her!

Bridget is one of those rare friends who shows up for you in every season, and she’s gotten me through some of the hardest and most important moments of my life. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering support mean more to me than she’ll ever know. She’s the friend who listens, who lifts me up, and who reminds me to laugh even when things feel heavy. I’m so grateful for her, and it means the world to have her by my side on this day.

This All-Inclusive Resort is where the Bride and Groom will be staying. It is 10-15 minutes from the venue. We are currently working on arranging transportation to and from this resort to the wedding venue. If you book at another resort, please provide that information to Katie; this will allow her to add other highly booked resorts to the transportation service. If you have any questions, please reach out to Katie.

Both airports are about 1 hour from our wedding venue. You will be able to fly to either airport.

Cancún International Airport

The majority of hotels in the area provide shuttle service to and from the airport with your booking so be sure to check before booking a shuttle service. There are a number of options for you to book transportation from the airport to your resort. This is the official Cancun Airport website that will provide you with a number of options. It is best to book for a group and split the cost of one shuttle. We highly recommend booking ahead of time and taxis and shuttles at the airport will have surge pricing for on the spot arrangements. They also do not have Uber or rideshare available at the airport.

This Dolphin Discovery is a 5 minute walk from the resort. You can go view dolphins, and enjoy some out-of-resort restaurants and shopping.

Chichen Itza is a well-known Archaeological Site and more after being selected one of the New 7 Wonders of the World in July the 7th, 2007. Chichen Itza welcomes over 2,500,000 visitors each year and you can reach the archaeological site by car, bus or with different tours. Chichen Itza opens every day from Monday to Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm, the last entrance is at 4 pm, and you can get the tickets on their website.&nbsp;

Xcaret is among the best&nbsp;theme parks in Cancun&nbsp;and Riviera Maya thanks to its more than 50 natural and cultural attractions for the whole family. Swim in its underground rivers, observe an immense variety of species in the Aviary, the Butterfly Pavilion, and the Coral Reef Aquarium to be dazzled by the country's iconic biodiversity. Enjoy delicious typical cuisine and experience the colorful folklore through the Xcaret México Espectacular presentation, a performance with more than 300 artists.

Cozumel island is only a 45 minute ferry ride away and our Wedding is going to be 15 minutes from the ferry port. If you have never been, it makes a wonderful half day or full day trip with ferries every hour from 6:30am to 8:30pm.

There are a number of cenotes across the Cancun/ Tulum/ Playa del Carmen area. This is just one that is close to our location. If you have any questions, please let Katie know as she has gone scuba diving and snorkeling in several of them.
