The Kurhaus Göggingen , popularly known as the Kurhaus, was designed by architect Jean Keller and built in Göggingen in 1885–1886. It is the only surviving multifunctional theater in glass and cast iron construction from the Gründerzeit. The architectural jewel was included in the list of the 200 highlights of German cultural travel destinations by MERIAN, the most renowned German travel magazine in 2011. Elements of the Italian and French Renaissance merge with cast-iron railings, windows decorated with stained glass and struts set in gold to form a unique ensemble.
