Since our relationship began over 5 years ago, we have been fortunate to enjoy travelling to many beautiful and exciting places across the US and Europe.

Q. How did you decide on Augsburg as the wedding locale?A. Since we now live in Switzerland and have family and friends spread across multiple continents, Germany emerged as an appealing "middle ground" with familial ties for both of our families. 😊 Q. Are children welcome at the wedding?A. Yes, but please let us know in advance if you will be bringing your children so we can be sure to add them to the guest count. Q. What language will the wedding be in?A. The ceremony and announcements will be in English. Our photographer and DJs will speak both German and English. Q. When can I expect my formal invitation?A. We plan to begin sending out formal invitations in November 2023. Q. Could you provide some examples of the envisioned dress code?A. Q & A

The Kurhaus Göggingen , popularly known as the Kurhaus, was designed by architect Jean Keller and built in Göggingen in 1885–1886. It is the only surviving multifunctional theater in glass and cast iron construction from the Gründerzeit. The architectural jewel was included in the list of the 200 highlights of German cultural travel destinations by MERIAN, the most renowned German travel magazine in 2011.&nbsp;Elements of the Italian and French Renaissance merge with cast-iron railings, windows decorated with stained glass and struts set in gold to form a unique ensemble.

Traveling to the venue

International travel: For our guests travelling from distant shores, we recommend flying into Munich International Airport (MUC). From there, Augsburg and the nearby Bobingen can be reached easily via train and light rail (~1.5 - 2 h) or car (~1 hr). Domestic and regional travel: As our guests living in Germany or its neighbors will expect, getting to Augsburg via public transit is straightforward. The venue in Augbsurg-Göggingen can be reached from the Königsplatz in the city center with Tram 1. For those of you staying in Bobingen, we are working on arranging travel to the venue for you. We understand that many of our guests are travelling from far away to be with us on this special day. Therefore, we would like to emphasize that no additional wedding presents are expected.
